Ticks
VECTRA 3D repels and kills ticks. It prevents the attachment by acting directly on the dog’s coat without any need to infiltrate the blood flow. Ticks cannot feed on your dog for 1 month*.
VECTRA 3D is active against the different life-stages of ticks from different species (Europe: Rhipicephalus sanguineus, Ixodes ricinus, Dermacentor reticulatus). You need to remove ticks as soon as you see them on your pet, especially before administration of VECTRA 3D.

Fleas
VECTRA 3D kills adult fleas (within 2 hours) and provides protection for a full month. Control of fleas in the environment lasts for 2 months after application of VECTRA 3D.

Mosquitoes
VECTRA 3D repels and kills mosquitoes that may transmit dirofilariosis (heartworm). We do not yet have this mosquito in the UK but it is relevant when traveling with your pet. Several layers of protection are recommended against dirofilariosis: contact your veterinarian for advice. VECTRA 3D is effective within 24 hours after administration and protects for 1 month against mosquito bites.

Stable flies
VECTRA 3D repels and kills stable flies (Stomoxys calcitrans).
VECTRA 3D is effective within 24 hours after administration and protection lasts for 1 month.
Sand flies
VECTRA 3D repels sand flies that may transmit leishmaniosis. Several layers of protection are recommended against leishmaniosis: contact your veterinarian for advice. VECTRA 3D is effective within 24 hours after administration and protects for 1 month against sandfly bites.
